Fringe Drifters
Fringe Drifters is an experiment in a novel form of media production and creation. It follows the inhabitants (Drifters) in The Fringe: a frontier of civilized space, a lawless sandbox for the desperate and crazed - explorers, prospectors, mercenaries, and pirates.
Inspired by the production ethos of, PROSPECT, Fringe Drifters is a collaborative worldbuilding and media production project. We've amassed an enthusiastic community of retro sci-fi fans in a vibrant Discord server and together we're fleshing out a new original sci-fi universe.
Thus far we've created copious amounts of art and films - collaborating with premiere sci-fi illustrators like Laurie Greasely and Calder Moore, a fleet of fully detailed 3D spaceship models, and an in-world compendium chock with lore, characters, and legends. All of this non-linear worldbuilding will eventually culminate in our next feature film, DRIFTERS.
In success, the possibilities are endless and we hope to continue to tell stories in the Fringe universe through films, series, video games, graphica, and more.
