AWS profiled the thriving startup scene in San Francisco. Dexterity Robotics was a key voice in this city portrait.
Hosting the interview on the robotics floor helped to root this startup in the technology they are tirelessly working to create.
Horse Fly
A short film made by our Executive Creative Director “In a future of fragmented nation-states, a disillusioned intelligence officer serves as the final human authority for an automated drone system, bearing the silent moral weight of lethal strikes she experiences only through a screen.
The robot at 8:00 was developed by our team and placed into the shot digitally.
Sony TASTE
Sony tasked us with showcasing the camera on their new flagship smartphone. We made a sprawling short film about sci-fi cookery that took us from the heights of the Olympic Mountains to the izakaya underbelly of Tokyo.
The food printer arm at 2:19 was developed by our team and placed into the shot digitally. All other props were created & built by our team.
Natuzzi x HoloLens
Natuzzi is an Italian luxury furniture brand that partnered with Microsoft to innovate the customer showroom experience with augmented reality. Our job was to showcase this developing HoloLens application on-site at their factory headquarters in Puglia, Italy.
In partnership with Natuzzi and Microsoft's HoloLens team, we created VFX assets to accurately depict the future usage of this tech and composited them into carefully-coordinated footage captured in Italy.
PORSCHE x HOLOLENS
Porsche Cars North America is using augmented reality via HoloLens to give their technicians x-ray vision into their cars. Telling this story meant integrating VFX into an on-the-fly documentary shoot to give a view into how Microsoft's tech worked in real time.
Effectively showcasing AR required a hybrid approach - capturing POV through the HoloLens itself, then compositing the same 3D models into the wide shots.
PROSPECT
PROSPECT stars Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us, The Mandalorian), Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets), and Jay Duplass (Transparent). It premiered at SXSW where it won the Visions Competition and has since streamed on Netflix, Hulu, and Peacock.
Our team prides themselves on how seamlessly the VFX blends in - over half the film included VFX shots.
NDA Vision Videos
We can’t share too much - but we have created vision videos for a few companies to help align engineering, product and leadership teams on a unified vision.
These videos imagined the future state of tech across a variety of applications, involving physical products - produced by digitally and physically.
